[As it got closer to Christmas, Juniper found herself sitting on the couch in the living room of the house she and many others shared; knitting sweaters and scarves and everything she could. Of course, she didn't say who any of them were for, and whenever they were done she'd instantly hide them.
Since it was quiet in the house and presumably nobody was around, Juniper felt she had plenty of time today to get the most out of her knitting. She was off in her own little world.]
[Athena had brought Juniper an early Christmas present. Maybe she was thinking that her best friend would have future use for it, but even if she refused to take it, it was going to be a done deal, anyway.
There's no stopping this train, especially when the all too energetic girl went to ring the doorbell, speaking up chipperly from the top of her lungs.]
Heeeey! Junie! I know you're in there! It's me, Thena!
[She flashes a victory sign, not even bothering to wait and instead just goes right in, smiling wide. Hey, she's a little excited, alright?]
Oh, yeah, I brought you an early Christmas present! I still have another one to give you on the actual day, but I thought you might like this one!
[Athena, please.]
Now, where was it... [She goes through her stuff before she finds a small blue box, inside it being mistletoe. Don't ask.] Aha! Here it is. It's for you, Junie. Now come on, open it! ¡Rapido!
Oh! You shouldn't have, Thena. Thank you. [She takes the box, and looks at it for a second before opening it. No need to be rude to her bestie.
Inside it she finds a mistletoe, and she thinks for a second, before a thought comes to her head. She looks up.] Th-Thena! This isn't for what I think it is, is it...?
[She kind of understands what Athena is meaning, though. She still remembered how Athena and Apollo conversed about which of the two were more popular back in school.]
It's fine... Christmas is about spending time with those you care about. It doesn't have to be about romance. And even if I did confess in front of a mirror... I'd just look silly.
[Because even if she did do all of that... her nerves would be shot when it comes to actually facing Apollo.]
C'MERE ATHENA.

Hello, Thena.

[Because boy, he's slow.]

I can't, Thena. I-If I wanted him to get the message now, I'd just tell him...

[Because knitting hearts should have given him all the details he needed, but. Apollo is not smart, apparently.]

[It's the only reason she's so shy about it when he's around.]
1/2
... I see.

[Sorry, she's just sad that she's getting none.]
But maybe you should try confessing in front of a mirror to help calm your nerves. I heard it works wonders!
